SORES – South Region Empowerment Strategy is a civic platform dedicated to reflection, dialogue, and action for the sustainable development of Cameroon’s South Region.

At a time when decentralization is being strengthened and every region is expected to take greater responsibility for its own development, SORES positions itself as a space for initiative and collective responsibility.

It brings together the key actors of the South Region — local leaders, public administration officials, traditional authorities, entrepreneurs, youth, women, civil society organizations, academics, and the diaspora — to think and work together toward shaping the Reference Region we envision for 2030.
